I was diagnosed 6 weeks ago and in that time my fasting result was 12.6, and now my 30 day average on my meter is 6.7. Is this in the right area, do I need to do more diet modifications, or is it OK to just carry on as I am? I have no idea if this is fast or slow! TIA. X

To be honest, your results are pretty good.
Your average is only a point above normal, but that is nothing to worry about.
Normal fasting blood glucose level is between 3.8 and 6 mmols.
If you have reduced your carbs enough, your next results should show normal.
I wouldn't change any thing, I would even give myself a small treat on your success.

I do allow myself 2 squares of 90% choc a day, that's my little treat lol

Oh yeah! With some full fat Greek yoghurt and a few berries.

That's my little treat as well!

Well done, keep it up!
