I am T2 diabetic my sugar are around 8s .iam on no meds and try low carbs how do I get my levels down to normal level .

Low Carb works for most people. Use a BG meter or CGM to test that your meals are low enough in carbs. Here's the simple blog post which got me on the path to T2D remission (over 4yr remission so far): https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html

You really need your 2hrs after first bite BG readings down to under 8.0 (worst case) or less than 2.0 above your pre-meal reading if you can do that.

Hi @kevkave if you don’t mind me asking what is your typical diet like. I ask as members may be able to make some dietary suggestions for you.

I have been test before and after.they remain a out 8s as a starting point

Greek yogurt at breakfast. Sausage n becon an egg dinner and pork salad at tea

Hi @kevkave could you just clarify. In your thread starter you say you’re not on meds, but your profile says you take Gliclazide. Which is correct please?
