I hope this is going to work... every now and again I get a sub 4 before my evening meal, point 7 full square, normally I am around sub 5. I don't notice any difference but do wonder what is going on.
Opens are Morning Fasting and closed diamonds 2 hrs after starting to eat.
Grateful for any observations.

3.7 is low ish.
But a lot of T2s can cope with that and have no symptoms of hypos whatsoever.
As long as you eat something as you say. Your bloods should respond just like they are doing.
I wouldn't go overboard on carbs to adjust the low.
