Lumps and bumps that won't go!!

I've been type 1 for 8 years now and I've been on my pump for a year (this week actually!) but I always suffered with lumps in injection sites as Ive always been limited to where I can inject due to 'pinching an inch'.
All my other lumps cleared up after a few days when I stopped injecting there but I have this one persistent lump at the top of my bum cheek that won't go! It sort of hurts when I'm sat funny on it, and it's quite noticeable (to me anyway) through the skin and when I'm wearing tight clothing.
As I said I'm on a pump now so it's been well over a year since I have injected there, anyone have any recommendations as to how I can shift it?

Happy anniversary

Did / do you suffer any other reactions with your injection / infusion sites? (E.g. stinging whilst the insulin goes in.)
Do you scar easily if you get cut?

It could be something diabetes related, or it could be something else - see this for some possibilities:

@ConradJ thanks for the link, I haven't noticed any reactions like you said so I'm not sure, will throw the question my consultants way when I next see him x

Hi charlie, does the lump feel as though its becoming infected? As it could be a abscess.

@clareb nope it hasn't changed size/tenderness at all in the last year, it's just constantly there. I'll keep an eye on it though
