LYSINE FOR GLYCAEMIC CONTROL

It's a vitamin supplement, i highly doubt any affect will be noticeable, (except to your wallet) any effect will most likely be placebo.

They're both small studies. Neither mention anything whatsoever about standardised diets. The larger study is funded by a grant from "Lysulin Inc USA" which I suspect is something to do with the ownership and production of LysulinTM. The other was smaller, lasted only 3 months, was testing urine glucose (which I didn't think anyone did anymore) and everyone in the test was already taking glibenclamide and metformin, so there are likely to be a number of confounding factors.

Unfortunately if something seems too good to be true, it almost always is.

In both cases there were measured improvements in various markers, which does suggest some benefit. Sure, there are limitations to the research carried out, but I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.

Yes, they are both small studies & one is right to be wary of trials funded by the manufacturer. Urine testing was only one of the tests carried out among many others, including HbA1c, which is supposedly the 'gold standard'. Whilst it is true that all participants were under medication, only the group taking the supplement showed improvement in the various markers. I'm not saying that it is a 'silver bullet', but I find the possibility interesting.
