Type 2 Maculapathy after reduced Hba1c

Has anyone else experienced signs after vast reduction of Hba1c? Mine has gone from 113 to 60 in the last 4 months, and now I have received recall after eye screening.

Yes. I was diagnosed with a detected macula oedema a couple of years after lowering my A1c & tightening managment. ironically...
But keeping that control was an incentive & helped with any recovery from treatment. In my exprerience.

All I can say is see what your eye specialist says after further checks.

Hi,

For me I had a series of 6 injections. (One a month.) then a followup scan I had a couple of recurrences in the one eye needing further 4 injections over another 8 month period. But now? So far I'm good. The check ups are getting fewer & far between.
