Maintained HbA1c 5.5 for the last 15 years

I am Afzaal Ashraf from Pakistan. I am an insulin dependent diabetic since 1984.I am not fat. Now i am 50 years old. I am proud to say I have maintained myself with the help of Insulin, proper diet and exercise. Whenever I feel that my blood sugar level is rising, I start walking. Now I have a problem that sometimes I feel pain in my feet(under the feet but feels like its inside my instep) . That pain is like the Needle prick sensation. It specially occurs while walking on stairs, when something comes under my feet like a little stone etc.
 
Hi @afzaal and welcome to the forum.

Well done on your excellent control. As for the foot problem I would ask your Dr. as it could be nerve damage or something completely different.

Hello and welcome @afzaal, your control has been excellent, so well done. Your symptoms might be diabetes related, but it's always best to seek help from your doctor, DSN or whoever looks after your diabetes care.
