UK govt has a new policy to fight obesity. It includes stating the calories in restaurant meals and alcoholic drinks. Why not report carbs too? Make it easier for the millions of people with diabetes to carefully manage their carb intake. What other policies would make it easier for you?

They don't report the carbs due to the very strong food manufacturers lobby. PHE get it's diet advice from a sub-group called SACN. This group gets much of it's advice from University Research departments of which Oxford is one. You will find that the main funders for this 'research' are the food companies. It may be just a co-incidence but carbs are the most profitable food group. It is up to all of us to put our low-carb case wherever we can to balance PHE 'low-fat' nonsense and that needs to be done on public forums. I've been doing some of that today!
