Hi and welcome to the forums.I realise this thread is from 10yrs ago but I have a follow on question. I like the odd malibu and fresh pineapple but now know how bad the pineapple juice is for me. I've recently tried mixing the malibu with Asda's 'no added sugar' pineapple and orange squash and it makes a nice drink. The question is, is the squash better than the juice for my levels?
Your going in the right direction that’s the important part, I’m sure as you get further into your journey you’ll be able to reduce the numbers further.Doctor told me to get below 10.0 to start with then see how we go. He's put me on half a Gliclazide a day, that's when I started testing. My last Hba1c (mmol/mol) was 80% up from 74% three months earlier.
If you don't mind "fizzy" a zero lilt type pop could also work (pineapple & grapefruit)I realise this thread is from 10yrs ago but I have a follow on question.
