Hello,

I’ve been a T2 diabetic for 14 years and I am running my first marathon in September.

I am currently carb cycling / low carbing to help lose weight (110kg to 101kg so far) along with strength training to help with hip issues.

I am running a marathon in September and looking for some advice regarding gels or recommendations of how best to fuel for the long runs / race.

Any help and advice welcome

Hi, no gels! Evil things for us, just eat nuts on long runs, you can run marathons without carbs.

Zach Bitter also is an expert in this field, having fueled world records on a train low carb and use carbs strategically during a race.
