Getting away from the humdrum of diabetes for a bit, I am wondering if anyone else was as enthralled with Masterchef on BBC1 (final yesterday) as I was . I must say, that I am not usually into TV competitive programmes such as 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'X factor' etc, but this caught my attention some time ago, I did not watch the last series but found the present series phenomenal, I have sat in absolute awe through most of the current series, at what these 'unprofessional' cooks have achieved and admire them all the challenges they have faced and battled through. The final three, Tim, Tom and Sarah, were mindblowing - the food looked like something to die for, and sadly, most diabetics cannot eat much of it - but that does not worry me - I just love to see what these so called 'ordinary' people managed to achieve. I predicted a few weeks ago that either Sarah or Tim would win, last night I opted for Tim - the food he produces, much of it Japanese inspired is unbelievable - so sad for the losers, and I was so engrossed when the announcement of the winner was made that I was actually on edge for them! I really do feel that they were all exceptional, but Tim was ultra exceptional
I felt so happy for him.
