Been doing a bit of googling too still none the wiser!
I can only assume the symptoms you have, coupled with results from your tests has brough the gastroenterologist round to "Mauriac syndrome".. It's gotta have a name I suppose..
Most of the time when anything goes wrong, it gets hash-tagged "diabetes related".
You need a straight answer from your doc on this one... Do let us know how you got on?
