Hi and welcome. These is no set max carbs as everyone is different in body weight, degree of diabetes blood sugar control and so on. Many on the forum will stay a lot below 200gm/day and many below 100gm/day. Use the glucose meter to measure blood sugar 2 hours after a meal to check the effect of a carb portion on you. if you don't yet have a meter, do buy one. When you keep the carbs down, ensure you have enough protein, fat, veg and fruit to have all the nutrients and fibre you need and to feel full.
