Post a pic of the bluebells please? I could do with a nice reminder of Spring :)

Not sure what I will have for my Winter knitting project yet. At the mo I am knitting nice warm slippers for my daughter in law who has such bad circulation her feet are always cold poor girly. My last Winter project was a sweater for John, it's like he's wearing a blanket it's so thick :D I have no clothes that fit me anymore 'cos of my weight loss, so I think I might do something for me although as I'm a slow knitter it might have to be thick wool and big needles :p. About time I had something to wear, it's getting so I look like a clown in my big clown pants and huge tops, even my shoes are too big for me, how funny is that? Doesn't matter when we are at home though, we don't get many visitors and those we do get are used to seeing me hauling up my trousers and disappearing inside my baggy tops :hilarious:
I will post the pic popsy , just a bit of it skills required ....:)
It is great knowing about all, this weight loss, big big congratulations ....
Yes you need something new to wear .....because I can see how large your jumper is ;). Lol
Yes this site comes with hidden camera,s ;) X

A Blessed Beltane to everyone. We are having a naming (Saining) ceremony on Sunday for my new Granddaughter Amber Rose. Born 14 weeks ago weighing only 2lbs 9ozs. She was 10 weeks early and a little fighter. I made this cake for her day.

Oh Opalshards, what a blessing Amber Rose must be to you, and a fighter, bless her cotton socks. All grand children are a gift, I have 5, but when they enter this world with complications, it must be doubly rewarding when they pull through and go on to be healthy and strong. She probably thought, I'm fed up of being here, I want to take the early train. Blessed be. Love and Light to you and your family. xxx

Oh my goodness! What does she weigh now? My eldest was 11 weeks early and weighed less than a bag of sugar so I know what you guys have been going through! I promise it gets easier! Is it your first grandchild?

aaahhh! My first born was also born at 30 weeks.

Have a lovely time on Sunday
Another premi mum! My eldest was born at 29 weeks weighing less than a bag of sugar and is now a strapping 9 year old!

Wow, My son was 1.693 kilos at birth and is now 27!
She was so tiny that dolls clothes were too big - she was under 2lbs. I was very ill with help syndrome and spent the first 3 days of her life in intensive care. However we both made it and I managed to have another one a couple of years later. Preeclampsia that time but wouldn't change a thing. Feel very lucky to have them.

Yes I feel like that about my two as well. I went in to labour because I had a placental abruption, so 4 hours later I had an emergency caesarean. I wasn't allowed to hold him for a week because he was so poorly. The second one was full-term but I had to have a ventouse birth (his heart rate was dropping) which was worse to recover from than the caesarean. Again I was only in labour for 4 hours. Yes I am very lucky to have them.

Mercifully I only didn't see her for 3 days. Everyone else did and I found that hard! Sensitive midwife second time round and got first cuddle!

Owen 3.jpg My grandson Owen, born Oct 10 2009 weighing 3lb 2oz. He died twice during his first hour, we were told he wouldn't live. He's 4 now, he not only lived but he walks too. He has just started to talk and although he has many problems he is a real battler, a fighter who will overcome anything I know. These tiny heroes can teach us so much about life if we listen can't they? :)
