mayo clinic diabetes diet

I am about to start the mayo clinic diabetes diet - I also have the "journal" to register everything! Anyone else tried this?

I was referring to this - more or less the same but in an easy to follow structured way! I am about to start - having been recently diagnosed it seemed a good idea to follow some sort of diet to get used to a new way of eating! I'd love to hear what you think
