Me being stooopid

errrr, WHY???


I am capable of being stupid myself, so just wondered why you wanted to start smoking again?
 
Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!If you've managed to stop for any length of time ,congratulations.Quick, get on to the smoking cessation line and get them to talk you out of it!!!!

Advice?

As a former smoker, there are cheaper, simpler ways to kill yourself. Months on a cancer ward wouldn't be my idea of fun.

I know the feeling, erroneous. I stopped for two years and then unthinkingly accepted a cigarette from a friend at a party. That was it; straight back on 40 a day! I could kick myself!

If it helps, I found a nicorette inhalator an invaluable aid to quitting, and my GP was good enough to give it me on prescription, so it cost nothing. Also, A lot of people on another forum have had success with Chantix, a prescription only drug, so it might be worth asking your doctor about it.

You misunderstood me....i'm already re-addicted. 20 per days. I need advice to quit again! I stopped for four years already but i was in a different situation where i could handle it more easily.
 
I saw a doctor in the hospital two months ago, he send me to my GP to get a prescription. It took me 3 weeks to get an appointment at the GP because they're always "fully booked". Finally my GP gave me a phone number, saying she couldn't give me a prescription. Bloody hell.
Wasting my time.

I stupidly thought i could have a fag at the end of my shift in the pub with a pint but now i'm trapped again! Stooopid me really. :oops:
 
I stopped for four yeas once then my mother died and I started again and could not give up. 9 Years ago I did it with Lazer therapy. I dont know how much it costs now, at the time I was able to pay in four instalments and got it cheaper as work in NHS and they were doing a deal thing but it certainly worked for me. Although I am one of those pests who 'HATES' it with a vengance. Hope you manage because it is definately a health risk and we have enough of those as it is.
