My family found these for me to try - very low in carbs... Wondering if anyone has tried these before? If they are good would be an amazing substitute for rice! We used to tend to have a lot of stirfrys with noodles and various rice and chicken dishes - cut down on them since been strict with carb intake pre-pregnancy.

Hi
They are good but wash them really well before use as the water they are in smells fishy!

I recently discovered these from Amazon

Lush n Low Shirataki Noodles (Zero Carb) - 200g

Only £1.30 per pack, but as stated above, they need a few rinses before cooking as they stink like old kippers :p That said, they are perfect once mixed with a nice sauce.

Another new staple for my fridge/freezer are Asda's Bubble & Squeak Frittatas. At less than 10g of carbs, I use a half for a main meal and 2 quarters as snacks. They are nice cold (as bought) or cooked.

My other new best friends are pork scratchings from Tesco. Only the ones in the blue bags though as they don't tend to have those horrible hard bits in them.

Crisps are sooooo last season dahling! :p
