Similar for me. Again, low calorie (which I spent most of my life doing) left me ravenous. Low carb. I can eat as much as I need to not feel hungry. Maybe you aren't eating enough? I too have one meal a day in the early evening because that suits me, but if I am hungry earlier in the day, I can have yoghurt (full fat plain Greek), any meat, fish or eggs done any way, a piece of cheese, avocado, some nuts, or home-made soup. You can eat whatever time it suits on whatever diabetic-friendly foods you enjoy. There is no need to endure hunger.
