Hi

Is there a handy conversion/ready reckoner table anywhere that compares HbA1c etc expressed in different units? My HbA1c values are in mmol/mol, cholesterol in mmol/L etc, but I see some in % and I'd like to be able to quickly convert between them for context.

Brilliant, thanks Indy (so much to read, missed the obvious!).

Simplest rule is the "minus 2, minus 2 rule": to convert integer hba1c measured in % to mmol/mol subtract two to get the first digit and another two to get the second digit - e.g. 6% is (6-2)_(6-2-2)=42 mmol/mol.
From there you can interpolate (5.5% is halfway between 31 and 42) and extrapolate (add 11 mmol/mol per 1%)
