could anyone clarify: 1 cup of cooked wholemeal vegetables - how much is it in grams? In Russia we estimate food in grams and kg, that's why I always have difficulties in understanding recipes in English

And one more question: how do you usually count carbs in vegetables - do you count every vegetable separately when you make salad, for example?

If it's available in Russia, try getting hold of a book named Carbs and Cals. It basically consists of pictures of various amounts of different foods on a plate and gives the Carb / Cal values (in grams, where appropriate.).

Alternatively you can get a pretty good idea by asking the mighty Google.
