Hi, I’m a newly diagnosed T2D and wondered how you all measure your blood glucose level (and whatever else needs measuring), can you get hardware and app for your smartphone?

Blood sugar testing can be performed with a finger prick blood test. Meters are available from Amazon or specific company websites, I can post info for you if you decide to go via that route.
I use the Freestyle Libre 2, which is a glucose sensor applied to the upper arm which you can scan with a compatible smart phone whenever you want. It works out more expensive than a finger prick meter but I prefer not to prick my fingers too much. I can post a link for these too, if you’d like.
