Hi does anyone take Jardiance ( Empagliflozin)
If so what do you think of it? My diabetic nurse started me on it yesterday to help my metaformin which is not working properly. Any thoughts please good or bad thank you

I will tag @Liam1955 as I know he uses it.

I had bad experience with heavy thrush on its sister tablet canagliflozin. In fact my walking has never been the same.

Sorry @Liam1955 I thought it was the same one.
Is it still effective and thrush manageable?
They are in the same family of drugs. I was on Forxiga briefly, and yes it did indeed give me a very nasty dose of candida that needed heavy duty treatment to shift.

@ickihun :) - "Touch Wood"!! - not had any Urine Infections since January this year. But, I am wondering if it my body has become used to it after 3 years of taking it. Have managed to get my daily Insulin down to 30 units from 44 units. Weight has stayed the same for over a year now - so all the medical team want me to loose another stone.
