I have a basic diet, eat much the same thing each meal each day. I suddently got the idea it is time for a change and as I live in Italy thought the Mediterranean Diet would be ideal for a Type 2. That may be but I see that there lots of things that I do not usually eat.
They are not actually harmful but I do not take to change easily. I shall do some more reading and thinking as I plod on to a decision.I do not want to lose weight. From nearly 200 kgs to 64 kgs is quite enough.
Any thoughts would be welcome.

It sounds like you will go take a dip into the shallow end of it, so just test and see how things go.

The mythical "meditteranean diet" means many different things to different people.
What were you thinking of eating?

Bulkbiker, thanks for taking the time. What's the problem, I wasn't thinking only considering. Shall have to get in gear and give it some serious thought. First thought is, get it wrong and die painfully.
Got one thing from your Post. There is no such thing as an actual "Mediterranian Diet" I think it is a case of just following the guidelines. I can do that
