Does anyone use a Pixel 10 with the 780g? I've just had a new Pixel 8 running Android 16 and it will not connect to the pump. The phone was a replacement for my old Pixel 8 which worked perfectly with the pump. Apparently a google update on the new phone killed its compatibility with the pump. I am due an upgrade, so was wondering if the pixel 10 would fix my problem?

It could well be that Medtronic just haven't put it on their compatibility list and wont let it run on that phone with Android 16 until they've tested and made it sure it works fine

Its never worked on my OnePlus 12R since I got it last year (was Android 15 and is now Android 16) :( (yes I'm still grumbling about that)

Just had acknowledgement from UK MiniMed Technical that there is an issue !

"We have been made aware today that there is a high level of reports relating to the Google Pixel phones not connecting. Our team believe this relates to a Google Security patch released on 5th March and are currently working with Google on a patch to resolve this. I will be keeping an eye out for any updates so I can let you know once a fix has been applied."

My Google Pixel 8 Pro lost connection early on 6th March, and the whole host of fixes you will have all tried have failed to allow me to re-pair, Hence the message from support above.

Sadly, I have to say the only reliable ongoing phones to use seem to be iPhones

They are the ones that ‘just work’ and always seem to be tested and ok day 1 for os updates

Not had a single issue in 20 months with iPhone, however Android was a bumpy ride

It's not as if i want to control the pump from the phone. I just want it to display what my readings are. How hard can that be for a huge multi billion $ company?
