I not goven a choice as hospital had nought in bulk a large qty of accuchek pumps
However, the best feature for me is the remote and not having to fish out the pump each time. I couldnt handle that at all, so accuchek works good for me. I found the customer service good too, being ablt to phone them anytime night or day and being anle to speak to somebody, and having them also email hour call to hospital is good too, especially when first hooked up.The service from accuchek I believe is pretty good compared to others. However, on a longterm basis you shouldnt need to phone them, so it is just a help really when setting up or if you think you have a batch of faulty sets.
You can also email them your order for the supplies of sets, tubes, batteries etc.. Which is far better for me than phoning from my mobile..you will have to make sure your email gives full details of account number with them, and name, address and size and type of cannula etc.
I know I had a moaning time initially with my pump because nobody would believe me when I thought the flexlink plus sets were faukty, and that was within weeks of going on to the pump, but I do like my accuchek pump.
