Medtronic pump upgrade during warranty period?

Hi All,
I currently have a Medtronic 640G and Libre 2 on the NHS and want to move on to a closed loop system, but have been told that I will need to fund it myself .

My diabetes consultant suggested the Medtronic rep might be persuaded to offer some sort of 'trade in' for a Medtronic closed loop pump, to keep me as a Medtronic user (rather than me moving to another manufacturer).

From a search on the net, I can see that Medtronic offer various schemes like this in the USA.

I'm just wondering if anyone in the UK has any knowledge or experience of this scheme operating here in the UK?

It's always worth asking the rep, but I know someone else who was wanting to do this early year, and unfortunately Medtronic wouldn't help, so they had to wait until their warranty expired, and then got a Tandem pump. Hope you're more successful.

I know my team said they’d offer an early upgrade for 780G but instead of 4 years, it’ll be 6 years.
