medtronic sudden battery failure-anyone else ever had this?

registrars asking silly questions
Basically as per title. I bolused a minute later it vibrated and i thought i'd forgotten to press deliver. The display said pump error and then said battery failure, replace. I have but feeling a bit nervous. Fortunately i was at home when it happened.

Has anyone else ever had this?
 
I've not but I've seen reference to it on Twitter. I'd give Medtronic a call.

I've certainly not,as previously said,contact Medtronic. Good luck.
 
Apparently both alarms trigger a replace battery notice. If either of the alarms go again they have to take it back immediately. Bit worrying
 
The internal battery on my 640 pump failed, however Medtronic replaced it the same day which was excellent service.
