Is there a website or anything that anyone is aware of that you can meet other people with diabetes? Mayeb go for meals or socialise and share experiences? Would be helpful as a newly diagnosed to hear some people talk about it comfortably without the stigma found in healthcare or otherwise

Not to my knowledge. Sometimes there is a support group at your local hospital, not sure how good they are though.
