memory problems

i woiuld really like to know if anyone with type 2 has problems with their memory and concentration i mean day to day things if so i would like to hear im wondering if it has anything to do with diabetes another possibility if not i heard one of the doctors on morning tv about statins for cholestral slowing you down dont know if anyone else has heard of it

Hi,
it's a well known side effect from statins. Please read your patient leaflet then discuss with GP if this is your problem.

thank you for that i never read the leaflets of my medication there again i am on an awful lot of different ones i will read through the statin leaflet and see what gp says

sorry i feel stupid now have just read other topics with similar problems i felt quite alone with it until i read this forum thanks, my sugar levels are quite high at the moment so maybe my memory problem could be due to this as ive just read on forum could be the cause, thankyou at least i dont feel so alone......i will ask my gp whether he thinks it is statins or sugar levels

Your GP will tell you it's your diabetes if he's like most other GP's
