Messed up my injection

I just did my overnight injection wrong! I misjudged how far the needle was in my abdomen and managed to inject into the skin so I have a little bubble that is quite visible under the skin. Should I reinject or would that be another mistake?

Personally I'd rather under inject than over inject, but that's just me. You could try ringing 111 to see if they have any advice? What basal are you using and how often do you inject it?

My basal is abasaglar an i am on 18 units at bedtime and trurapi at meals.

If you try gently massaging the area where you injected through your clothes, that should disperse the insulin and it should then be absorbed. I'd set my alarm to check blood glucose level in a few hours though.

Well I survived although it ran high all night, woke up this morning at 9.8 so could have been worse. Thanks for putting up with my panic last night
