meter readings to PC - Windows 7 probs

Im a new member here and did a quick search for Windows 7 problems with meters, but found little info.
I have had a freestyle Lite meter and a while ago downloaded the co-pilot software but it appears that there is a windows 7 compatibility issue.
After enquiring with the hospital they said to try a Bayer meter but it looks like they too have not sorted out their software issues!
What is the matter with these companies, WIN 7 has been out for some time and increasing in use. Why cant they get up to date?! does anyone know WHY?
Has anyone else managed to solve the issue, or can recommend a meter and software that ACTUALLY WORKS on win 7 ?! :| :!:

Thanks!
Richard

Hi, I took delivery of a Bayer countour USB this week and i'm pleased to say that it works perfectly fine with Win 7, no problems at all. The software come on the meter itself and works just as a usb pendrive, the software is easy to use as well :) HTH.

Hi cavair

I'm using the CoPilot software from Abbott on two PCs here running Win7 without any problems.

What exactly is the issue you're experiencing?
