Meter trading - swapsies

I have three brand new meters, a one touch verio, a contour next and an Accu check mobile (with a full cartridge). What I would like to do is trade these for any Accu check that uses Accu check test strips. The reason for trading is our prescription is for Accu check and we get the strips on repeat so it seems daft having different brand meters as spares. My thinking was someone out there might have the opposite.

Postage would be £2.80is second class so this is a very cheap way of getting the spare that you need!

I reckon if you just ask Accu check nicely they will just give you a free metre to keep as a spare. You know, out of the goodness of their hearts (or because it's very strongly in their commercial interest to keep you using their monitor and thus their test strips - it's the test strip where they make their money so they can & do give the monitors away for free) it's at least worth asking, I'm sure their website will have a customer service bit you could contact

I've got 2 accu-check Aviva meters spare if they are any good for you. I won't need them as I've got different meters now. So somebody else may benefit with your offer.
