Hi all
I am type 2. I am on a mission to lose weight and better control my levels. I have recently been given a new one touch verio flex meter. My old one touch ultra 2 meter is 10 years old. I have happily been checking my bloods 4 times daily on my new meter. I have had some low levels, which I put down to my new diet and exercise routine, also I have lost quite a bit of weight. My levels have been so good I have reduced my glicizide morning intake from 2 x 40mg to 1 × 40mg. I have now discovered that my meters are reading with huge variances. New meter read yesterday at 3.4, old meter read at 7.6. I have since checked the readings a few times and they are still way off each other. Anyone had this before? Any advice on what to do? Thanks.
