Meters

I have bought two machines for my parents recently and they are very happy with both of these:
  • One Touch
  • Accu Check
You also need to buy packs of needles/lancets along with the meter. Generally they come in a pack of 12.

Both these machines can store your glucose reading in their memory, so that user can track their progress.

If you're self funding then most people would probably recommend the Codefree because the test strips are the cheapest.
 
I think most people on here go for codefree ,I like my gluco Rx nexus I think it's the one the NHS are in favour of at the moment
