Metformin and me

    I am T2 and have been taking Metformin SR 1000 mg bd for a lot of years now.
    Coupled to that I also have MS Secondary progressive so you can probably guess that I am on a LOT of tablets.
    As far as I (and my doctors) can tell, none of the problems I have are down to any of the tablets I take.
    Reading all the side effects of them makes me feel like I'm missing something (NOT).
    Am I just lucky, or what?
