Metformin impact on BG readings

I'm curious as to what impact Metformin has on the numeric value of a BG test.

I missed tablets twice today, lunch and dinner, the 2hr post dinner reading nudged into double figures, 10.6, how much would the medication have reduced that value. Did I read somewhere between 1>2?

Yes, you're right - Metformin can reduce your BG reading by 1-2 mmol/l depending on the dose.
