Metformin recall by fda

Hi,
Been taking metformin for 10 years without problem but recently saw that it was under a voluntary recall by FDA in America due to high levels of something called ndma which has a supposed link to cancer.
Does anyone know if this is a widespread recall or just certain manufacturers brands as I am getting lost in the information on the internet?

As far as I know the most recent recall for Metformin in the uk was in 2021 for contamination of the oral solution:

Class 2 Medicines Recall: Rosemont Pharmaceuticals Limited, Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg/5ml Oral Solution, PL 00427/0139, EL (21)A/20

Rosemont Pharmaceuticals Limited is recalling a specific batch of Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg/5ml Oral Solution due to identification of an impurity above the acceptable limit.
