Metformin reducing insulin need and preventing weight gain.

I've always known metformin is what helps me lose weight.......on the correct diet thou, which this doesn't mention.

Very interesting! In the 3 years that I have been taking Metformin my weight has been stable although I cannot rule out the effects of less carbohydrate and more exercise as well. This is a novel experience for me!

Metformin alone didn't help me as much as low carb, metformin and insulin therapy to give perfect bgs.
I must have perfect bgs too, to lose.
