metformin ^runs^

Hi. From postings I've seen on this forum a small number of people still have problems with SR. If it doesn't improve you may have to ask your GP to look at alternatives. Whether you must stay on Metformin depends to some extent on your type of T2 i.e. are you over weight and insulin resistant in which case Met is good drug for that but if you are nearer to normal weight it may be your pancreas needs a prod in which case Gliclazide is typically prescribed. If you are not alreay on a low-carb diet, then this could be all you need without any meds?

Hi i was on Metformin for a month after which rushing to the loo 12plus times a day was changed to SR that reduced the loo rush to 9 plus times a day i am going back to my doctors Christmas eve this medication is not suitable for everyone i gave each type a month + and the symptons never changed and i never lost any weight most upsetting
