Have any other forum members suffered a skin reaction such as redness of the skin (erythema), dry skin and itching If so, has anyone used any prescribed lotions etc. to lessen the effects. I am assuming my problem is caused by Metformin of which I take two tablets (500g) daily'

Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Sorry, can't help as I haven't had any such reaction.
Talk to your health care team about coming off Metformin for a while to see if the problem clears.
