I’m type 2 and been taking Metformin for about 3 months. First the quick release but due to the side effects: nausea, loss of appetite and diarrhoea, now on the slow release version.
This was tolerable while taking one tablet daily. However, since increasing to two tablets daily, where I have one with breakfast and the other with dinner, diarrhoea episodes are almost daily.
It’s been a month now. Will it ever settle??
