Metformin skin rash allergy

Hi wonder if anyone has experienced a skin rash from metformin . It seems to have appeared since I was put on metformin a few weeks ago , I am due to go to dermatologist for skin biopsy . But I cant think of any other reason of having this rash .

Have you read the information in the Metformin package?
It is so long ago that I took it, and it really damaged my memory - but I think there might be a warning about a rash in there.
