Good Afternoon I recently went onto Metformin but after 8 days of not being able to venture too far from bathroom Iasked to be switched to SR version I now have the opposite problem , can any one suggest a good laxative that will not upset my medication ,and is there one available on prescription??

My GP prescribed me Lactolose when I got constipated due to taking very strong painkillers, it worked for me.
