I was on it for over a decade, so how long is forever?I seem to have been on this medication forever! Is there any reliable info out there, folks know about, I can read to discover anything re taking this long term? Thanks in advance.

I had some folate issues I needed to supplement for but that should be checked as part of your yearly review

Really any info I’d find would be a google into medical research papers
I was about 12 years and it was okay, but very sensible to understand long term potential issues. Is there a particular reason you are asking or just a general understanding of the risks? Thanks Andy, forever as in since diagnosed = 11 years

Yes, that’s what I didJust a general understanding I think, it just seems so long i guess. I am embarking on a lower carb eating regime and understand if my blood sugars lower, i can request if i may reduce them...or at the very least be able to stop taking them!
