today is the last day for taking 500mg
tomorrow to start 1000mg, but on the label, it just says to take 2 500mg aday, but no idea if to take as one dose or 2 times aday
the pharmacy and surgery are now closed, so can,t ask them

when i looked at recent posts, where my photo is, theres two of me but not off anyone elses

The only clear advice I was ever given was that Metformin must be taken with meals. I suppose that could be two separate meals if it helps.

if slow release it doesn't matter..if standard, one with breakfast and one with tea

it doesn,t say slow releace, so will take it twice aday, thank you

My GP didn't say anything but I thought it was sensible to space my 2 tablets out during the day, so I take one with breakfast and the other with my evening meal. Appears to work for me.
