I'm getting a Samsung smartwatch for Christmas, it is app enabled will it be compatible to use with a miao miao device for the freestyle libre?

Assuming you plan to use xDrip. I highly recommend joining and asking the xDrip facebook group. They are a pretty friendly bunch and you get replies from the developers about what should work and how to do it rather than a random person on a forum (no insult meant) who may have tried it once, failed and gave up.

Check out the G Watch App. This works with Samsung smart watches to display sugars. It works well with my Dexcom and links to xDrip, Nightscout, libre alarm, diabox and AdroidAPS.
