Miaomiao 3 flashing red light

I've put in a refund request through PayPal. The support channels were quite active for a while but died off when I passed them my order number to them (they did ask, and said I was entitled to return my MiaoMiao 3 at any time for up to a year) so I'd recommend going that route perhaps.

Annoying though.

I'm facing the same problem as you. I've followed the same steps as you and nothing seems to work.


I changed my freestyle libre 1 sensor last sunday and when I connected the Miao Miao 3 sensors it kept saying that no sensors were connected. When I try to reset it (by plugging in the charging cable), it has connected to the Suggah app and sent readings. But when the cable is disconnected, it stops working immediately.

So I tried to update the firmware, but now my Miao Miao started flashing red light and now nothing seems to work anymore.

Same problem here. Does anyone has the correct firmware to upload to the mm3? Thanks in advance!

I never did manage to remedy this. I was very disappointing. I got hold of MiaoMiao via MiaoMiao.cool and they asked me (eventually) to return it for a replacement. They gave me the address and I sent them proof of postage and a tracking number, but the address wasn't found and it's stuck in China.

I chased them again for a replacement and the support channels have gone cold. Id say MiaoMiao have slipped considerably in my estimations. I went ahead and got a refund through PayPal.

Firmware needs to be updated for your Miaomiao not for Tomato app. You can refer the below YouTube video which I have created to update your Miaomiao.

ı have same problem .but when ı try to connect miao miao3 to nRF app.it disconnect after a second all the time .when ı charge miaomiao .no lights on. when i take off charge a red light is blinking for 5 second the it is gone too .

Ok amma tell what happened with me so no guarantees ok?
-First update the nRFconnect to latest v.
Download the latest tomato app from the official should be called "libre2eu"something
'Can't paste links here don't know why ?
-rename the tomato app. apk ->zip
Extract it
Open assets ->fm2.zip
Use the fm2.zip as the file for the frameware update ( DUF)

NOW THE TRICKY PART
FOR ME IT DIDN'T. WORK FIRST TIME SO
-YOU MAY TRY TWICE OR MORE
THEN THERE IS MM3.ZIP
IN THE ASSETS FOLDER
YOU MAY UPDATE USING IT FIRST BUT USE THE FM2.ZIP AFTER
