Just got one of these how does it work do I need the sugar level machine and then scan it on my arm or can I use this without the machine and it sends the reading to my phone

By machine I am assuming you mean the Freestyle Libre?

You will need an app on your device like Glimp or XDrip to read the data sent from the Miaomiao?
