Migraines

Since I have managed to get my levels down to near-normal levels I have had 3 migraines in the last 6 weeks, after not having had one for donkey's years. I not sure if this is :-

a) coincidence
b) the gliclazide
c) my lower levels

Nothing else has changed really. My GP said yesterday that I may be running too low, but I'm not sure i agree I've just had another one this morning and checked my level and it was bang on 6, so perfectly "normal".

Anyone got any suggestions? I really don't need to have another load of trouble on my plate :eh:

I had migraines during my late teens and then they stopped. 20 years later they started and have continued on and off since. I get flashing light, feel sick and they wipe me out for days at a time. I have a varying range of meds to take depending on the severity of the attack.

It makes no difference what I eat or do. They do come in bouts and I'm at the point where I accept the fact that I have migraine and they will settle in their own time - which they eventually do. It's frustrating and a right pain but there's little I can do about them.

I had them (starting at puberty) until just before I went through the menopause, but hadn't had one for 9 years until 6 weeks ago, so it must be connected somehow :(
