milk diet prior to bariatric surgery.

Hi everyone
I have just been told, at very short notice, that I am to go in for bariatric surgery next week.
Iv'e been put on a milk diet and an currently taking metformin.
Has anyone else done this and if so what are your feelings/thoughts/experiences.

Iv'e read all sorts but personal experience is much better
